You will not starve on this cleanse. Far from it. There is an abundance of great food to choose from, all of which is designed to elevate your health. The meals focus on lean proteins and veggies and lots of good healthy fats. Your carbs will come mainly from gluten-free grains and legumes such as brown rice, chick peas, quinoa, lentils, etc. Some cheese (goat, feta) is permitted and you’ll be provided lots of delicious dairy-free options to use where needed. (e.g. almond milk, coconut milk)
Following are the substances you will be avoiding for the next 14 days because of their negative effect on your health:
– Sugar
– Gluten containing grains
– Artificial colourings/flavourings and preservatives
– Junk food (pop, potato chips, candy etc.)
– Baked goods (cookies, cake, pastries etc.)
– Alcohol
Yes. You can have one cup of coffee a day. Or better yet, swap your coffee for a cup of caffeinated green tea instead. It will give you the same caffeine hit, and provide you with some helpful anti-oxidant support.
Yes. 70% dark chocolate or cacao is allowed in this program. This can be consumed in moderation as a treat 1-2x during the cleanse.
No. Alcohol – even in small amounts – is hard on your liver and body as a whole. If you are going to get the most out of this reset you will need to avoid drinking alcohol in any form during the 14 days.
No. Each meal plan builds off the previous one so you are always using up ingredients and re-purposing leftovers. The meal plan is designed to feed two people, but can be modified by adjusting the servings to suit your needs.
How you feel on this cleanse depends a lot on your current health status and lifestyle. Some people feel great straight away when they remove processed foods and gluten. Others may feel a little sluggish for a day or two while their body detoxes and then notice an increase in energy. If you are following the lifestyle tips and cleanse strategies and sticking to the dietary guidelines you should notice an uptake in energy and vitality at the end of the 14 days. So much so, you may just want to keep on going….
No. If you are exercising, keep it up. Any form of exercise during this program will help you lose weight and remove toxins at a greater rate. The goal should be 30 minutes of movement each day.

Complete meal plans, a grocery list and prep guide will be provided for each of the 14 days. This program makes it easy to nourish yourself and get the most out of the cleanse.
Cheat days are up to you. They will definitely set you back though, and prevent you from getting the results you want. Therefore I don’t recommend them. Like everything in life, you get out what you put in. The best thing you can do is make a commitment to yourself to do the entire program and then hunker down and get it done. 14 days is very doable. You’ve got this!
