The GI Map test by Diagnostic Solutions Lab is my current test of choice to determine the underlying cause of IBS, Crohn’s, Ulcerative Colitis and GI related symptoms like gas, indigestion, bloating, pain, constipation and diarrhea.
This GI Map conducts an DNA analysis of your stool and is therefore a very sensitive and specific test. If a microbe is there, it will detect it and quantify exactly how much is present. The test assesses for the presence of yeast, bacteria, parasites and viruses and determines the overall health of your digestive tract and its function. The results from this test allow us to be very strategic about how, and in what order, we support your body and guide it back to balance.
